Year 2019 is yet to over because Fall 2019 season has just started however, so far this year has offered many good looking Anime which are obviously having their chances to count in mainstream ones, not too many in count but yeah, in my belief a few like Vinland Saga are having a lot potential.
The purpose of this article is to present Top 5 Anime of this year moreover I'll be placing them rankwise just to represent the attendance of how much hype a singular one is having in my brain lol . So yeah, let's get started!

1. Vinland Saga
Astounding, nothing lower to the word, astonishing. How much I scrutinize, I can't find a single instance which wasn't satisfactory to my eyes. Right from the initiation of Vinland Saga, which lands in the middle of the battlefield, a perfect suggestion for the fan of a war loving action anime.
There aren't many anime these days which adapts from historical theme, especially not which centres Vikings, at least I have not found any yet, except for the Vinland saga. Vinland saga takes you to the era when the world was unstable, constant wars, slave trade, dominance of certain group or king were at its acme. These were the time when psychology of people was inclined on the abstract that, the one who kills the most in the war is the one greatest of all, succeeding with the certificate to impart in havens after the death.
2. Kimetsu no Yaiba/ Blade Of Demon Destruction
If someone considers Demon Slayer as best of all the shows so far this year, I wouldn't be the least surprised, it's just how magnificent this Anime is. Amazing Plot. Very satisfying characters. Beautiful sceneries, and how can we forget, the Action, they didn't hold anything back, usually there's been a trend going on that, if the art of animation is 'beautiful' then in most Anime we don't see blood and much of a crazy fight, however Demon Slayer took the challenge and it's offering really fantastic results. I just love how it's depicted, slaying the demons, brother protecting his demon-sister with his life. In addition the dark past and cruel reality just adds up a bonus to this show.
If you're not yet familiar with Demon Slayer Anime. It's a world where Demons coexist along with humans however, not in a good terms, human flesh hungry demons. They wander around everywhere at the time of night, murders and victims from them are very often, to terminate those demons there are Demon Hunter cops, a rank in this world which requires an intense training, defined sacrifice and death battles. They are the people who are strong enough to take a demon down.
3. The Promised Neverland
The Promised Neverland is primarily a story about children, but not about children. A story far too dark, but also damn far-fetched. For instance, children are raised by a "mother" in a sort of "orphanage" in the middle of nowhere. One day, two of these children (Emma and Norman) discover a heavy secret that hides their "mother". And then…? Then everything is linked and the author immerses us in this story hyper dark however, absolutely fantastic. This is clearly a dystopia that can frighten more than one.
4. DORORO
A guy with no physical organs or the senses to sense of feel anything of surroundings, this is Hyakkimaru, the main protagonist of Dororo anime. Only reason he lives is to kill demons because that is the only pathway to redeem his physical self and for this reason only he is on a venture to kill demons, alongside him is a normal kid Dororo who just wanna help him accomplish his goal.
Dororo is an Anime which takes you to the era of past where wars are frequent, the presence of harsh nature in war and its cruel aftermaths. It takes you to the world where demons exist so does poverty and discrimination by nobels and everything bad. First impression of this Anime was enough for me to predict that it's not an everyday Action show, it's a lot more deep and a bit dark however, very fascinating to watch.
5. The Rising Of The Shield Hero
Ranked #392 (when this is written) in myanimelist, this show is an Isekai where an otaku, Naofumi becomes cursed with the fate of being the "Shield Hero" with 'shield'
they really meant only a 'shield' he don't have much in the offensive side and because of which he always has to rely on somebody else, someone trusted to take care of that. When the heroes are provided with resources and comrades to train with, Naofumi sets out with the only person willing to train alongside him, Malty Melromarc however, is soon betrayed by her and becomes falsely accused of taking advantage of her. Which as usual becomes a source of hatred and had to face discrimination from the people of
Melromarc for something he never attempted to do. This is when he buys a demi-human slave (Raphtalia) to accompany him in the venture to survive!
This Anime in my opinion has a very decent plot and a good workable structure to follow the storyline, which yes, to some extent was accomplished, however there some sections which are quite unsatisfying, sections like pace of the show.
